1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Unveil mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Kratos Studios Limited ("we," "our," or "us"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Unveil is an AI-powered skin journal and progress tracker. The App allows users to take selfies for skin analysis, receive AI-generated skin health scores across multiple metrics (overall health, texture, hydration, acne, dark spots, pores, elasticity, brightness, and wrinkles), and track skin progress over time with comparison notes.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the European Economic Area) to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under the age of 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to use the App.

4. Account and Authentication

The App creates an anonymous account for you upon first use. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.

5. Health and Medical Disclaimer

• Skin health scores and AI commentary are generated by artificial intelligence and may not be accurate or complete.
• Do not use the App as a substitute for professional dermatological advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
• Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for skin concerns or conditions.
• We are not responsible for any health decisions made based on the App's analyses or suggestions.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App to:

• Upload images that are illegal, obscene, or violate the rights of others
• Upload images of individuals without their consent
• Attempt to bypass usage restrictions or security measures
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use automated scripts, bots, or other means to access the App
• Use the App to develop competing products or services
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure

7. User Content and Photos

Your Photos: You retain ownership of all selfies you upload. By using the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your photos as necessary to provide skin analysis and progress tracking features.

Storage: Your selfies and analysis data are stored securely in cloud storage to enable progress tracking across devices. You may delete your account and associated data at any time.

Skin Profile Data: Information you provide during onboarding (name, age, skin type, sensitivity, concerns, goals, ethnicity) is used solely to personalize your skin analysis experience.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, code, and branding, is owned by Kratos Studios Limited and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our prior written consent.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy or reliability of any AI-generated skin analyses, scores, or recommendations.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, KRATOS STUDIOS LIMITED SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP.

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Kratos Studios Limited, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or related to your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. Sections regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification shall survive termination.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if necessary, through binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.
